InAcres Agrofarms LLP (“InAcres”, “we”, “us”) operates the website inacres.com and provides community-supported agriculture services in Telangana, India. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and what rights you have over it.

2. Information we collect
When you message us on WhatsApp.
Our WhatsApp number is answered by an automated assistant. We collect and store:
- Your WhatsApp phone number and the profile name shown on your account
- The content of the messages you send us, and our replies
- Details you choose to share in conversation: your name, the city you live in, which project interests you, how much land you are considering, your timeline, and your farm visit preferences
When you use our website.
If you submit an enquiry form, we collect the name, phone number, email address and any message you provide.
When you become a co-farmer.
We collect the identity, address and financial information required to register land in your name and to meet our legal obligations. This is handled by our team directly, not by the automated assistant.
3. You are talking to an automated assistant
Messages sent to our WhatsApp number are answered by an AI assistant, not a person. It can tell you about our projects and arrange a farm visit. It does not discuss prices, returns or legal matters, those are passed to a member of our team, who will contact you.
You may ask to speak to a person at any time and we will connect you.
4. How we use your information
- To answer your questions about InAcres and our projects
- To arrange and confirm farm visits
- To pass your enquiry to our team so they can follow up by phone
- To keep a record of enquiries so we do not lose track of you or ask you the same things twice
- To meet our legal and regulatory obligations
We do not sell your information to anyone, and we do not use your enquiry to train AI models.
5. Who we share it with, and where it is stored
To run the WhatsApp assistant we rely on three service providers. Your information is shared with them only so they can provide those services to us.

This means information you send us is transferred outside India and stored on servers in the United States. By messaging us, you consent to that transfer.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our legal rights.
6. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records and conversation history for 24 months, after which they are deleted. Records relating to actual land purchases are kept for as long as the law requires us to keep them.
7. Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct anything inaccurate or incomplete
- Ask us to delete your information, where we are not legally required to keep it
- Withdraw your consent to us contacting you
- Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf
- Complain to the Data Protection Board of India if you are not satisfied with our response
To exercise any of these, write to our Grievance Officer below. We will respond within the time the law allows.
8. Keeping it secure
WhatsApp messages are encrypted in transit. Our systems are protected by access controls, and only the people who need your information in order to help you can see it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.
9. Children
Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed, and the current version always lives at this address.
